NYC/MoMA

I finally got to take one of those bus tours, after all these years of going into NYC. It was cold, but damn did I get close to that traffic light. And we passed a few of Madonna's estates which made me unecessarily excited.

I haven't done any art (aside from photography) in a few days. I'm such a slacker. Ugh.

Graf1

Looks better in fullsize. Probably going to render it some more. Maybe color.

I'm trying to do some art at least once everyday during winter break. I tried this last summer, and I let myself down a few times, but it's always worth attempting to motivate myself.

Well, I'm home. Trip back wasn't too bad, no traffic so it was good. I left the room at the ungodly hour of 6am, and got off the bus in NYC around 12:30. So yeah. It was weird that morning, because I woke up and just kind of laid in my bed thinking about how much I was going to miss school. That has never happened before.

Guess it was a good semester.

I played Guitar Hero literally all day today. My arms hurt. My ranking still sucks. I placed top 10 in some tournaments.

Ships and Dip

Our final project for animation basics 2 this semester. A little collabo, with some experimentation in sound.

I think I slacked a bit on my part of the project, and I regret it now, looking at it as a whole. I always come up with these revelations a bit too late.

Can't wait to get home.

Don't fret! (hahaha)

I have been unbelievably unmotivated and unable to draw lately, and it's frustrating me to no end.

A little less than two weeks, and I'm out of here. Finals are not going well so far... as in, they're not really going at all, as in I haven't done work for most of them.

As in, FAIL.

Joshua.

So I did some illustrations for a friend who was writing a children's book for school or something, and I pulled 17 of these out of my ass in under 24 hours, so they look pretty lame, but whatever.

Here are some highlights. They're backwards, though. So the later pages are first because Photobucket has the worst html generator in the world.

If you're wondering, the story is about a monkey named Joshua who wants to play violin but his parents and schoolmates are like, "No, wtf, that's so stupid! Haha." but he overcomes their harsh words and becomes a violin player and then his parents are proud and shit. Sounds like my life, only without the my-parents-are-proud part.
