Animated Emojis

A few of the dozens of emojis I animated on Jibo - all made in Adobe Flash/Animate. Would call these animoji's but someone already took that name.

More Kid Friendly iOS Stuff

Worked on some character design/animations for a kid's ABC/123 iPad app, made by a talented fellow named Matt Habel. The level of polish on the app is pretty amazing - for the love of God, support developers who have an eye for design.

Some concepts and sneak peeks of animations below.

HEY

REMEMBER WHEN I HAD A BLOG?

I swear I still do stuff. Here's some character animation I worked on for Planet Nutshell! They're great. This video is cute. Everything's awesome.

Happy Holidayz

There's my annual drawing-of-the-year-due-to-holidays. 2016 - it is what it is.

Had the pleasure of working with some cool folks at Planet Nutshell this year though - did some animation for them on this little ditty!

After Effects

My first attempt at animation in After Effects. Trying to get up to speed in AE with all my Flash/Animate knowledge so I can combine mad skillz, yo. Hopefully. Someday. My computer might need more RAM.

Character in User Interfaces

Been doing a lot more motion graphic stuff recently... I did a few motion studies for a talk at SXSW this year, exploring how motion in user interfaces can add character to menus and buttons. Character and motion are the next big steps into making technology approachable and liveable - no one has issues building interfaces, but making them enjoyable makes a huge difference.

This particular exercise explored if an interface were a toddler vs an old man. Click a gif to watch the full video.
